Embroidered Mojari Care: Protecting Threads and Decorative Detail

Embroidered mojari needs care around its threads as well as its base material. A routine intended for plain leather should not automatically be used over every decorated section.
Identify the materials
Ask which parts are leather and which parts carry fabric, thread or other decoration. Read the seller's care instructions and keep them with the order details. A product's appearance alone does not tell you whether a cleaning product is compatible with its colour or finish.
Avoid pulling or vigorous brushing
Lift loose dust gently with a soft cloth or suitable very soft brush. Do not tug a loose thread or trim it without asking about repair. Avoid spreading shoe polish over decorative sections, and keep footwear away from jewellery or rough objects that can catch threads during packing.
Respond to stains carefully
Blot a fresh splash gently without soaking or rubbing the area. If colour changes or a stain remains, seek guidance for the particular design. A machine wash or household oil is not a reliable general treatment. Store the dry pair separately from delicate clothing so the soles remain apart from the fabric and the decoration is not compressed by luggage.
